Zurich, 28 August 2024 — Peak Reinsurance Company Limited (“Peak Re” or the “Company”), a Hong Kong-based global reinsurer, is pleased to announce the appointment of Peter Hämmerli as Head of Business Operations, effective 26 August 2024.

Peter will report directly to Franz-Josef Hahn, CEO of Peak Re, and will play a pivotal role in enhancing Peak Re’s global business operations, P&C.

With over 25 years’ experience in reinsurance and consulting, Peter brings extensive operational expertise to Peak Re. His previous positions at Swiss Re, including serving as Head of Global Shared Service Operations, have provided him with strong skills in managing and optimising business processes.

Peter’s operational acumen will be instrumental as Peak Re continues to expand its presence and influence in the global reinsurance market. His deep understanding of reinsurance operations, coupled with his recent consulting experience, will contribute greatly to the ongoing development of Peak Re’s Business Operations team.
