Hong Kong – 2 February 2026 – Peak Reinsurance Company Limited (“Peak Re” or the “Company”), a global reinsurer specialised in emerging markets, today announced that Philip Hough will join as Chief Underwriting Officer on 2 April 2026. In this key role, Hough will lead Peak Re’s P&C underwriting strategy and business process, with responsibility for disciplined risk selection, portfolio optimisation and product innovation to support the Company’s next phase of profitable growth.

Hough brings over three decades of reinsurance experience with a proven track record of leading high-performing teams through multiple market cycles. He most recently held senior leadership roles at Aspen Re, including Managing Director for Asia Pacific, Global Head of Property Reinsurance and Head of EMEA & LATAM, and previously worked at Transatlantic Re in Paris.
