Hong Kong, 3 February 2026 — Peak Reinsurance Company Limited (“Peak Re” or the “Company”), a global reinsurer specialising in emerging markets, is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Tang Yan and Mr. Dan Joseph Knipe to its Board of Directors (“Board”).

Ms. Tang’s appointment took effect on 30 December 2025, while Mr. Knipe joined the Board on 22 January 2026. In addition, Ms. Tang serves as a member of the Board’s Audit Committee and Investment Committee, and Mr. Knipe serves as a member of the Board’s Risk Management and Compliance Committee.

Ms. Tang brings extensive experience spanning legal and risk management functions. She currently serves as the Chief Risk Officer of the Fosun Banking and Insurance Committee and Co-General Manager of the Legal Department at Fosun International.

Prior to joining Fosun in 2014, Ms. Tang was a Senior Associate at the Shanghai office of DLA Piper, specialising in cross‑border mergers and acquisitions. She holds the lawyer qualification of China and is a member of the New York State Bar Association.

Mr. Knipe is a qualified actuary with over 25 years of experience in the insurance and financial services sector. He leads Kilter Finance, a specialist investor which provides capital to insurance and reinsurance companies across the globe.

Kilter Finance was established as a joint venture between the founding management, led by Mr. Knipe, and leading global investment firm KKR. Mr. Knipe serves on a number of boards in connection with his position at Kilter Finance.

Prior to founding Kilter Finance, Mr. Knipe held positions at Leadenhall Capital, Swiss Re and Tillinghast.
